Soon...

So we have not been doing much since I blogged last.  We are anxiously waiting for our referral.  We are at the top of the list for baby girl.  Three babies are due this month and hopefully one will be our little girl.
We had a great baby shower during Labor Day given by my sister in law, Jayne and brother, Pedro.  Wayne was able to be at the baby shower so that was great.  My family is so generous and amazing.  I love them very much.  We were also able to spend time with our family at Sandbridge Beach, VA over the weekend.  It was such a short visit with the family.  Hopefully we can plan a longer family vacation soon so we can introduce baby girl to everybody.
Wayne and I also came back from Oklahoma this past weekend to visit Paul (my brother in law), Jocelyn (his wife) and baby Avary.  It was such a whirlwind visit.  We were able to see old friends, the Shin family and Jeff for a good dinner.  We also got to meet Mickey LaSalle and see Linda LaSalle (our friends) over the past weekend.  Baby Avary is cute as a button and we got to spend a little time with them.  We are just working, working, working now while we wait for the phone call.

Now we just wait for our referral.  I feel nervous, anxious, joyful, ready, etc.  Such varying emotions for this time in our lives.  I am so thankful for my new friends I have met along the way in this adoption journey and will enjoy being in touch with them as we raise our children.  I am also thankful for family and friends  who support our journey to our baby girl.
